Capital Grill & Bar, Circular Quay
Grilled Scallops with Chestnut Sauce
After Miss K secured herself an awesome cadetship at an awesome financial firm, I decided to spoil her with a nice dinner at Capital Grill located in Macquarie Park. Although it seems to be very popular with business people for after work drinks or lunch I also noticed that it was great for food. I was curious so I took the risk and booked a table to find out for myself.
I’ve never really been a big fan of oyster, I tried this one but in future I’ll probably give my servings to Miss K
Miss K loves her Sashimi, this was close enough that she loved it! I enjoyed it too but decided to give her some extra servings =)
I haven’t actually figured out what those vegies were exactly but it tasted like potato and onions, this was my favourite Roast Chicken dish so far. I love how the sauce matches so well with the chicken which was also EXTREMELY tender, must have been because it was free range.
I think the potato was potato, but now that I think about it… not sure what it was exactly. It tasted similar enough. In any case I love the steak, it was perfectly cooked not too rare and not overcooked, the mushrooms are a bonus because knowing me I love my mushrooms with ANY dish.
Overall I would definitely go back to Capital Grill (UPDATE: Restaurant has closed permanently
) Very nice and relaxing atmosphere with extremely clean and well laid out interiors.
A pair of food lovers, always capturing their food moments.
