My 20th birthday spent with Mr C @ Centennial Park. He cooked me food for a picnic!!! The night before he told me he was helping his mother cook dinner, but turns out he was secretly preparing the following dishes !! SO SWEET OF HIM TT How often do you see guys cook for their girlfriends, SERIOUSLY XD
The moment I saw those ingredients, I can already tell I’ll love it SOOOO MUCH ! It has all my favorite ingredients (and his too). So good, wish he would make it again. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!
Unfortunately the cheese melted by the time we ate them, but it was still good regardless, cos we’re cheese addicts XD at least I am…Didn’t really eat too much of this because crackers fill me up quickly and there were two other yummy dishes waiting for me !! Couldn’t risk getting full.
I think this was my most favourite dish ! Tasted so much better than woolies (of course, Mr C made it) -17/4/2012- just found out Mr C used his hands to mix the mayo and everything else with it….__O meh.
The salad was just so delicious, and it had egg in it as well!!! . Wish he’ll make this for lunch again x) I’m going to be a happy girl. ^^
Never was a fan of wine but I slowly became addicted to it (since it was our only beverage) and it was sweet too !
03/03/2012 – Crinitis Birthday dinner
Later at night we had a dinner with some friends at Crinitis which we’d visited many times before. I should have asked what Mr C was going to order…since my friends and I didn’t know what food to order. This entree pretty much got me half full already but I loved it
The tomatoes were very fresh and the crust was perfectly cooked to crunchy perfection.
I stole all the cheese before anyone else could because it was so good.
The meatballs were quite juicy, it wasn’t too hard or dry. The sauce was perfect with it! Tasted ALMOST like IKEA meatballs (which I really like for some reason). Can’t wait til we go Europe to eat genuine Italian & Swedish meatballs XD
My favorite dish of the night! Mr C knows me too well, the mushroom flavour was so good. I JUST WANT MORE!!! Can’t believe one of my best friend didn’t like it… seriously she has poor taste in food…
So want to make this @ home The risotto was so creamy and full of mushroom flavours, I believe there was some truffle mixed in as well
Actually I think this was my favourite dish of the night… Why do I love mushrooms so much?? Because they’re so juicy and full of flavour! I was quite surprised because I always thought Crinitis was only good with pasta. I was so wrong. I can still taste that cheesiness in my mouth *drools* Definitely going to force Mr C to order this again the next time we visit Crinitis some time.
Man I’ve been so spoilt. Nearly every dish had my favourite ingredients, (I LOVE YOU MR C
) I regret eating so much of the entree before… Mr C was like “Stop eating so much” and I replied “But I’m hungry
” and then he’s like “You’re going to regret when you know what else is coming..”, Didn’t eat much of the pasta cos I was seriously getting full.
My favourite pasta dish.
Overall this is definitely my favourite dish at Crinitis, I love the perfect mix of cream, avocado and mushrooms with parmesan. Full of flavour and perfectly made.
Our last dish of the night. Everyone was too full to eat this
But we did force ourselves to eat as much as we could because we wouldn’t want to waste the poor chefs effort. The pork was kinda dry, but the sauce and potatoes made up for it. Can’t wait to be spoilt for my 21st
Wait, need to think of an epic plan for Mr C’s birthday too this year @@
Crinitis has a few stores with similar prices, they come up a bit expensive at about $20-30 per main but the restaurants are great for dinner with a few friends, I don’t think its particularly romantic though because its so busy and loud!!
A pair of food lovers, always capturing their food moments.
